The MISSION 1 Series is a new line of compact cinematic cameras designed to go beyond traditional action cameras like the GoPro HERO Black line. MISSION 1 Series cameras use new high-capacity Enduro 2 batteries, which provide longer runtimes, improved thermal performance, and faster charging.

You can use HERO13 Black Enduro batteries as backups, but they won't provide the extended run-times and won't support fast charging. Enduro 2 batteries are also backward compatible with select HERO Black models.

Thanks to the GP3 processor, advanced hardware optimization, and the higher-capacity Enduro 2 battery with fast-charging, you’ll get the longest continuous runtimes and most dependable thermal performance of any GoPro ever. 

Some approximate recording times include:

• Up to 5 hours at 1080p/30 (Endurance Mode)
• 3+ hours at 4K/30
• Up to 1.5 hours at 8K/30

MISSION 1 Standard

Compact, rugged cinematic camera with a 50MP 1” sensor, GP3 processor, and 8K30 / 4K120 video. Includes GoPro standard 14mm lens for serious creators.

MISSION 1 PRO

More advanced features than MISSION 1. Features a 50MP 1” sensor, GP3 processor, and category-leading resolutions and frame rates like 8K30 Open Gate, 8K60 and 4K240. Includes a GoPro standard 14mm lens for pro-level capture.

MISSION 1 PRO ILS

A specialized version of the MISSION 1 PRO that allows filmmakers and creators to use a wide variety of interchangeable Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lenses. Capture shots and effects never before seen from a GoPro.
